An introduction to the concept of app-smashing, a technique coined and honed by Greg Kulowiec that uses multiple apps to complete a project.
This is a great example of app-smashing in action which not only identifies a whole range of options to be creative but has already stimulated some thinking about how I can do things myself. Examples such as this also add weight to arguments for not restricting the possible apps that students might use to respond to tasks. Though such an approach has ramifications regarding control and instruction it also had huge possibilities in regard to differentiated curriculum or personalised learning especially if students can be expected to create similar movies describing the app-smashing process.
