Apple’s Siri update provides mental health support for those with suicidal thoughts

APPLE has made an essential update to its voice activated personal assistant, Siri, to provide mental health services to those in need.

John Pearce‘s insight:

Whilst I’m not sure if Siri would be my preferred confidant if I were feeling depressed or worse, this is a potentially useful addition to the Siri responses albeit that the Beretsky transcript later in the story is not so satisfactory.
