BYOD In The 21st Century

Marc-André Lalande (@malalande on Twitter) from RECIT Provincial Service for General Adult Education creates presentations on advantages and limitations of ICT and selects TED Talks presentations and other pedagogically inspiring media for teachers in general adult education and other fields of education. These presentations are archived in the Pedagogical Quickies YouTube channel. The latest video uploaded to the PQ channel is a wryly humorous look at the issue of BYOD in schools. The video distills some of the main arguments for and against BYOD suggesting that it is a case of when, not if education embraces BYOD.

What’s happening in your situation, have you begun to talk about BYOD?

  2. John, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It’s a terrific summary of the issues and attitudes, with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure.
