Welcome to Australian Best Reads
where teacher librarians are invited to share their suggestions for must-reads for their students.
It’s easy to add your favourites…
Become a member of the wiki.
Select the most age-appropriate page for your recommendation.
Fill in the details in the table so that others can see if it is suitable.
Include your name. You can choose the degree of anonymity you want.
Link the title to a review or other info, including teaching notes, that you know of.
If it’s an e-book, put this in brackets after the title.
Titles do not have to be by Australian authors and can be picture books or novels, read-alouds, read-alongs or read-alones.
If you have a favourite review site, book blogger or book trailer collection there are pages to link to these too.
Enjoy stretching your reading horizons and those of your students.
