  7. Thank-you John. I found your page by reading the comments on posts I’ve been tracking via cocomment. You are very generous. I added this page to our Stage 2 pageflakes page as it is very useful for staff who need help with some applications. If this is not okay, please let me know. http://www.pageflakes.com/3gkat2008/2278829322788293.

  9. Really great tutorials, John! Would it be alright if I linked to your site in an online course I am developing for adult education teachers who want to start using web 2.0 apps? I want to develop a “resources” page that people can go to for further reading and this is just what I am looking for. Thanks in advance!

  10. Hi Susan,

Please feel free to link and use as you wish to. It’s great to see adult education getting into this sort of stuff. Best wishes in your endeavours.

  14. Thank you John, I’m ready to start a students’ blogging so your parent letter and rules are appropriately useful.

  15. Thanks John for sharing. I’m preparing to make a tentative leap into blogging with my students. Great idea to put the rules on all the kids blogs or wikis. As they are so clear and simply put, I hope you don’t mind that I’ve put them on a page for ready reference.

  16. Hi Kathryn,

Please feel free to use or adapt the rules as you wish, nothing much is original on the web these days :) . Glad that you found them useful.

  17. Hello John,
I have just discovered your site and it is impressive. Since I was in you session on Web 2.0 technology at the ICT in Education conference last year I have been dabbling into this 2 way form of Internet usage more and more. Up in the Loddon Mallee region you have heard about each grade 6 student receiving their own ultra mobile Netbook. I will use your tutorials and site in my quest to professionally develop myself and assist my students.

All the best and see you at the conference this year

  18. Hi Tony,

Great to hear from you again and looking forward to catching up with you at ICTEV. I had heard that you folks, (like down here in BSW), are part of the netbook trials. Lucky you to have such a great operator as Anne Baird to help guide it though I have also heard that there are some issues associated with the netbooks. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance, oh and thanks for the book order, hope you find it useful too :) .
