Little Aussie Bloggers

Sue Waters, quite a dab hand herself at creating podcasts across a range of topics and in a range of formats has been very busy over the past couple of weeks on the Australian Flexible Learning Network forums facilitating a discussion on Podcasting, video/audio streaming and online video and why teachers would want to use them.

In the discussion Sue, a self confessed Online-aholic who has developed some fabulous resources herself, (just check out her Blogroll), also pointed to the work of secondary science teacher Richard Meagher. Like Andrew Douch, Richard has been using Podomatic to provide his Chemistry and Physics students with some fabulous video and audio resources.

On the score of developing video resources, Richard and Sue have made a really neat intro to using Camtasia podcast available through Sue’s podomatic portal. Be warned to allow an hour or more to peruse though :) .

  1. Hi John

Thanks for the nice comments. Please that you get something out of the information I create. Probably lucky I am an online-aholic but now you have said you will need hours to get through my podcasts I can have a break? :)

Richard’s work is excellent. I look forward to checking out what Andrew is doing.

Look forward to actually meeting you next week (although we will need to do a podcast :) ).

    Sue
