Via Paul Harrington comes a link to some more great work from the redoubtable Kiwi Allanah King just across the ditch, (that spot of ocean between we Aussies and NZ). This time Allanah has produced a great video relating her experiences with her children in blogging and podcasting as well as skyping with Paul and others.
An easy view Allanah’s presentation is part of what looks likely to be an interesting conference, the No Time4 Online Conference which will be running for 2 weeks from 28 May to 8 June 2007. The pre-conference review contains some familiar and some less familiar introductory contributions to whet the appetite of the numerous kiwis and a couple of others who already signed up. Hmmm maybe we should invite a five or sux of our colleagues from the Shaky Isles over here to Oz to give us a hand????

After having a look around the conference site I sent off an email to Jill, one of the conference organizers and was chuffed to get a reply this morning. Jill wrote,
“No problems joining in and being an active participant – the more the merrier. All the conference areas are available without login and the registration process is simply so that we have an idea of who has been attracted to join in – either actively or passively.”
I had to look up in a thesaurus to look up what redoubtable meant:- “adjective a redoubtable army commander formidable, awe-inspiring, fearsome, daunting; impressive, commanding, indomitable, invincible, doughty, mighty.”
Being a koiwi I didn’t know what such a big word meant!!! I am not all together sure that it is a good thing!
ANYWAY- thanks for the honourable mention.
I’d be love to pop over the ditch and sort you out! Just give me a minute to watch us win back the America’s Cup first then I’ll be over like a shot!
